Peer Mentoring

Starting university can be challenging, which is why we assign each new student a Peer Mentor–a high-achieving upper-year student who will help you through your first term at York. Peer Mentors can't provide academic advice (such as explaining your degree requirements). Still, they are there to help you develop the skills you need for academic and personal success, like organizational strategies, learning techniques, self-awareness and academic confidence. More information will be posted closer to January, including session schedules.
